Allen Ginsberg

Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) was an American poet born in Paterson, New Jersey. He is best known for his influential work in the Beat Generation, particularly his poem "Howl." Ginsberg spent much of his later life in New York City, where he became a prominent figure in the literary and countercultural movements.
