Beatrix Potter

Beatrix Potter (1866-1943) was a British author and illustrator, best known for her children's books featuring animal characters, such as "The Tale of Peter Rabbit." Born in South Kensington, she spent much of her later life in Near Sawrey, where she drew inspiration from the natural world around her.
