Charlotte Brontë

Charlotte Brontë (1816-1855) was an English novelist and poet, best known for her classic novel "Jane Eyre," published in 1847 under the pseudonym Currer Bell. She was part of the Brontë literary family, along with her sisters Emily and Anne, both of whom were also writers. Brontë's works often explore themes of social criticism, morality, and the inner lives of women. She remains a significant figure in English literature.
