Harry Harrison (1925-2012) was an American author born in Stamford, Connecticut. He is best known for his contributions to the science fiction genre, including the popular "Deathworld" series and the novel "Make Room! Make Room!" which inspired the film "Soylent Green." Harrison passed away in Brighton, England.
