Lafcadio Hearn

Lafcadio Hearn (1850-1904) was an Irish author born in Lefkada. He is best known for his writings on Japan, where he spent a significant part of his life and contributed to the understanding of Japanese culture and folklore. Hearn passed away in Ōkubo, Japan.
