Lucretius

Lucretius (94-55 BCE) was an ancient Roman poet and philosopher born in Pompeii and died in Rome. He is best known for his epic philosophical poem, "De Rerum Natura" (On the Nature of Things), which explores Epicurean philosophy and the nature of the universe.
