Romain Gary

Romain Gary (1914-1980) was a French author born in Vilnius. He is known for his diverse literary contributions and is the only writer to have won the Prix Goncourt twice, under his own name and a pseudonym. Gary passed away in the 7th arrondissement of Paris.
