Yevgeny Zamyatin

Yevgeny Zamyatin (1884-1937) was a Russian author born in Lebedyan. He is best known for his dystopian novel "We," which critiques totalitarianism and explores themes of individuality and freedom. Zamyatin spent his later years in Paris, where he continued to write until his death.
